Japan Sent Large Expo Site Inspection Contingent to Shanghai

ON 3 March, a World Expo tourism promotional meeting targeting the Japanese was held in Shanghai`s Hua Ting Hotel. On the occasion of the "2010 China Expo-Tourism" year, in order to attract more Japanese tourists to actively participate in Shanghai World Expo, Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration invited nearly 400 Japanese travel industry and media representatives to pay a special visit to Shanghai.
It is understood that the delegation consists of representatives and stakeholders of the Japanese Travel Industry Association (JATA), Japan National Travel Association (ANTA), as well as Japan`s major tourism wholesalers and tourism industry and the media who will be conducting a comprehensive survey of the World Expo tourism-related conditions in Shanghai.
