WORLD EXPO tickets for national holidays and peak periods are now in short supply.
The Expo organizer announced yesterday that the remaining small number of peak-day tickets were only available at six selling points in Shanghai.
The 17 peak days which are expected to be especially busy include the May Day and National Day holidays and Expo`s final week (October 25 to 31).
Tickets for these peak days are priced at 200 yuan (US$29.31) each compared to the standard 160 yuan.
People can dial hotlines 12580 for China Mobile, 114 for China Telecom, 95559 for Bank of Communications and 11185 for China Post before going there to buy the tickets.
The peak-day tickets, that will be sold only ahead of the opening on May 1, have been extremely popular since sales began on March 27 last year.
