THE China Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo site has extended its opening hours to 8pm from 5pm after nearly 50,000 people, the pavilion`s maximum capacity, visited each day during the last weekend.
The attendance on Saturday and yesterday set a new record since the pavilion reopened on December 1 after the World Expo 2010. Tickets to enter the pavilion, which opens at 9am, will be on sale from 8am to 1pm and priced at 20 yuan (US$3).
