Quarterly Statistics & Analysis of China's VC/PE Fundraisings - Q2/2010

Abstract :

In Q2/2010, China s VC/PE fundraising market was on a slight decline, with funds at all the fundraising stages (completing their fundraisings, completing their first closings and commencing their fundraisings) reduced to a varying degree compared with the previous quarter. More specifically, there were 23 funds completing their fundraisings, 9 ones completing their first closings and another 12 ones commencing their fundraisings (as shown in Figure 1-1), posting respectively an 8.0%, 18.2% and 33.3% quarter-on-quarter drop.
