Brief information on Lunxun Park

Write: Kalanit [2011-05-23]
Compared to Qingdao s largest park, Zhongshan, Lu Xun possesses an air of tranquil integrity, with more of a focus on aesthetics than vending stalls and amusement rides. Built in 1929 along the western shore of Huiquan Bay, it combines traditional Chinese gardens with the calming presence of the bay to provide visitors with a perfect escape from the city. Appropriately this park is named after Lu Xun, the great Chinese writer who many consider to be the father of modern Chinese literature.
