April 16 -Blackburn-based, high performance seals specialist Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE) has been acquired by Idex of Northbrook, Illinois. The deal, which also includes Perlast and Aberdeen O-Rings and Seals, follows the retirement of Peter Cummings, chairman and owner of PPE.
Idex is a global player in fluid and metering technologies, serving high growth specialised markets, including health and science technologies. PPE will operate as a business within Idex s health and science technologies division.
