SINGAPORE, March 23 - Indonesian coal miner Bumi Resources (BUMI.JK) aims to boost coal output to 65 million tonnes in 2010, from around 60 million tonnes in 2009, a company executive said on Tuesday.
"2010 production probably will be around 65 mln tonnes," Kenneth Farrell, a director at Bumi Resources said on the sidelines of a mining conference in Singapore."
"We probably increased inventories a bit, so sales probably will be few million tonnes less than production."
Farrell also said higher prices and better volumes would also help boost revenue at a double-digit pace in 2010.
