PRAGUE, Jan 11 - Miner New World Resources (NWR)
(NWRS.L) (NWRSsp.PR) has agreed to sell its NWR Energy
subsidiary to the Czech unit of Dalkia (VIE.PA) (EDF.PA) for
approximately 122 million euros ($174.7 million), it said on
Monday. The sale could be adjusted by no more than 6 million euros
to minus 2 million euros depending on the subsidiary's 2009
performance, NWR said. NWR, owner of the Czech Republic's largest hard coal mines,
added the sale was expected to close in early 2010.
