SHANGHAI, Dec. 10 - Three people were found dead in an oil container on a waste-oil collection ship in Shanghai's Songjiang District, local police said.
Songjiang police came to the ship and found the bodies of two men and one woman in the container after receiving a call, said a police spokesman.
The three were from one family and initial investigation has ruled out murder, he said.
One victim may have accidentally fallen into the container while collecting oil, while the other two also died when trying to rescue him or her, the spokesman said.
Police are probing further into the case.
