BP restarts Texas City refinery reformer -filing

HOUSTON, Nov 1 - BP Plc (BP.L) (BP.N) began restarting Ultraformer No. 4 at its 475,000 barrel per day (bpd) Texas City, Texas, refinery on Sunday, according to a notice filed on Saturday with state pollution regulators.
The Ultraformer is a reformer, which converts low-octane refining byproducts in to high-octane blending components in gasoline.
The restart could last through Nov 12, according to the notice filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
