PERTH, Oct 22 - Australian oil and gas producer Santos Ltd (STO.AX) reported a 5 percent gain in third-quarter output on Thursday and kept its full-year production outlook.
Santos, Australia's third-largest oil and gas producer, said total output in the September quarter was 13.9 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe), compared with 13.2 million boe a year ago.
Santos, which has partnered Malaysia's Petronas [PETR.UL] to build a liquefied natural gas export project in Australia using coal-seam gas, also said it was on track to achieve its 2009 production forecast of between 53-56 million boe.
