CALGARY, Alberta, Aug 5 - TransCanada Corp (TRP.TO) said on Wednesday it has repaired a pipeline break on its Alberta natural gas network, but that short-term transport service will be limited until it completes its investigation.

TransCanada said on its website that the break occurred on its Peace River mainline in the province's northwest on July 30.

It said typical flow on the affected segment was as much as 141 million cubic feet a day, but it will remove all interruptible service, restricting volumes to 123 million cubic feet a day until further investigation is completed.

Overall, the massive Alberta pipeline system moves about 14.5 billion cubic feet a day.
