p>CALGARY, Alberta, April 15- Irving Oil Ltd plans to boost production of ultra-low sulfur gasoline at its 300,000 barrel per day refinery in Saint John, New Brunswick, as part of a project scheduled to begin in September, according to documents filed with provincial regulators.

Irving has filed plans with New Brunswick's Department of Environment to improve the reliability of the refinery's residual fluidized catalytic cracking unit. According to the filing, the project will raise gasoline output because it will increase the unit's reliability.

The filing did not detail how much additional gasoline the privately held company expected to produce.
