Japan's Idemitsu shuts naphtha cracker for repair

TOKYO, March 24 - Japan's Idemitsu Kosan Co said on Tuesday it shut its 374,000 tonnes-per-year naphtha cracker at its Chiba plant earlier in the day for maintenance and repair work.

The shutdown is projected to last about a month with the restart scheduled for late April, a company spokeswoman said.
