MADRID, Feb 13 - Brazilian state owned oil group Petrobras (PETR4.SA) said late on Thursday it has no conclusive estimate for recoverable reserves at the BM-S-9 block it operates off the coast of Sao Paulo state.

Repsol (REP.MC), which has a 25 percent stake in the Santos Basin block, said on Wednesday the block could hold 2-6 billion barrels of oil.

The Brazilian oil company said it will only be able to make an accurate calculation of recoverable reserves at the block with further investigation of the strikes at BM-S-9.

Petrobras holds 45 percent of BM-S-9, where the Carioca prospect is located, while BG Group (BG.L) holds the remaining 30 percent.
