Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. said Tuesday it won a contract to provide engineering and procurement services at a Canadian site of plastics and chemicals maker Nova Chemicals Corp. The NOVA Chemicals Joffre site, located in Alberta, Canada, consists of three ethylene plants, two polyethylene plants, and the manufacturing infrastructure area. Besides engineering and procurement support, Jacobs will assist Nova with execution planning and coordination, cost estimating, and technical field checking. Financial terms were not disclosed.
