Feasibility study to commence for 250,000 ton naphtha cracker at Belarus

Tender for a feasibility study for a petrochemical complex in Belarus is to be granted. The petrochemical complex is to include a 250,000 tpa cracker, a 150,000 tpa LDPE unit, a 100,000 tpa PP unit and a 100,000 tpa MEG unit. State-owned petrochemical company JSC Polymir which has overall responsibility for the project, has called for tenders for a feasibility study on the project.
Potential participants include Russian petrochemical companies LukOil and Russnef, as well as China's Sinopec.
