NEW YORK, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- Crude-oil futures declined almost 3 percent on Monday, as traders rushed to lock in gains amid increasing worries that a worsening economic slowdown could lower oil demand in the United States.
Crude oil for February delivery dropped 2.82 dollars, or nearly3 percent, to finish at 95.09 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
