KINGSPORT, Tenn., Dec. 7, 2007 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Jan. 1. These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.
EASTMAN Glacial Acetic Acid, All Grades: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.13/kg) globally.
EASTMAN Acetic Anhydride, All Grades: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.08 /lb ($US 0.18/kg, Euro 0.12/kg) globally.
EASTMAN Methyl Acetate, All Grades: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) globally.
EASTMAN Acetaldehyde, All Grades: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.13/kg) globally.
