Effective December 15, 2007, as contracts permit, the Dow Paper Latex business is increasing the prices of all vinyl acrylics products sold into the pulp and paper industry by US$0.10/lb (dry) in the United States and Canada.

We are implementing this price increase on our latex products to help offset rising manufacturing costs. The escalation in the costs of many raw materials used to manufacture our products has eroded margins to unsustainable levels.

Dow Latex is dedicated to providing the paper and paperboard industry with the widest and most innovative range of styrene butadiene and styrene acrylate latex technologies and is the leading manufacturer of S/B latex and solid plastic pigments that are used in coatings for fine papers, publication papers and coated paperboard used in packaging.
