Crude prices rise due to tight heating oil stocks

NEW YORK, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- Crude prices rose Friday on concerns about tight heating oil stocks.
Light, sweet crude for January delivery rose 89 U.S. cents to settle at 98.18 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
In London, January Brent crude rose 1.26 dollars to settle at 95.76 dollars a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.
Heating oil prices are rising due to falling supplies in the United States and overseas. December heating oil futures rose 1.68cents to settle at 2.7042 dollars a gallon after earlier setting anew trading record of 2.7181 dollars a gallon.
