Sinoma Suzhou

October 30, Phuc Son Cement Co. 5000 t/d cement production line project contracted by Sinoma Suzhou, a Subsidiary of Sinoma International, was awarded the Luban Prize for China Construction Projects by China Construction Association.

Started from 1987, the Luban Prize is the highest honor for enterprises providing best construction and engineering services. This prize got its name from Lu Ban, an excellent in ancient China who was later regarded as the originator and numen of construction industry.

The Phuc Son cement project is a 5000 t/d clinker production line with an annual output of 1,550,000 tons cement clinker and 1,800,000 tons cement. It is invested by Taiwan Lucky Cement Corp. in Vietnam.

The project is China's first 5000 t/d cement engineering EPC service in overseas markets. Adopting domestic equipment, it is the first cement project that Chinese people provide design and EPC service, and has been accepted according to Chinese standards as well.

The project is designed by TCDRI, a subsidiary of Sinoma International, and Sinoma Suzhou undertakes the general construction services. Started from October, 2003, the plant was successfully ignited on May 17, 2005, and received a FAC on December 21.

After the batch feeding, the production line runs steadily with an output of over 5500t/d. Until May 30, 2009, it has produced more than 6,300,000 tons qualified clinker with the clinker heat loss of 3032kJ/kg.

Adopting the NDP cement technology, which is developed independently by Sinoma International, the production line mainly uses China's high quality complete set of cement equipment. The engineering design and manufacturing technique have all reached the world's advanced level.

After the completion of Phuc Son cement project, Vietnam began to uses China's cement equipment and technology. So far, there are a total number of 12 cement production line in Vietnam that applies China's design and equipment, and built by Chinese companies as well.
