TCDRI KCC project in Cambodia received FAC

Recently Tianjin Cement Design and Research Institute s EP project-- Cambodia KCC 2500t/d project received a Final Accepted Certificate issued by the owner.

As the first large-scale cement plant in Cambodia KCC 2500t/d is the first project in cooperation between TCDRI and The Siam Cement Group and it is also Siam Cement s first project in overseas markets.

On 27 October 2005 TCDRI signed the EP contract on Kampot 2500t/d cement production line with The Siam Cement Group in Bangkok. The contract covers services like engineering design equipment procurement and technical services. Started at the beginning of 2006 the kiln of the plant ignited and began test run on July 2007. Commencement ceremony was held on January 2008 and Cambodia's prime minister Hun Sen attended the ceremony and spoke highly of the project.
