Sinoma International signs contracts of nearly 2 billion RMB with Dangote

On October 9, Sinoma International, Sinoma s Shanghai-listed subsidiary, announced that it has signed two EPC contracts of 3000 t/d cement production line with subsidiaries of Dangote Group. The total contract value is 1.967 billion RMB. The contracts are the world s largest cement production line EPC contract signed within one year after the outbreak of global financial crisis, representing Sinoma International s leading power in global cement equipment and engineering services markets.

Both of the two production lines will apply the EPC model. Each of the contracts contains a whole cement production line from limestone crushing to cement packing and dispatching, including engineering design, equipment procurement, civil engineering, installation, commissioning and final acceptance of construction, etc. The two projects are located near Dakar, the capital of Senegal, and Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, respectively.

Besides continuing to maintain 80-90% of the domestic market share, Sinoma ranked No. 1 in overseas markets in 2008. So far, the contract amount carried over of this segment has been more than 52 billion RMB.
