Vietnam Xining Cement Plant contracted by TCDRI transferred to the owner

December 28, Xining Cement Plant, which is contracted by Sinoma Tianjin Cement Design & Research Institute and invested by No. 1 Building Materials Corporation of Vietnam Ministry of Construction, successfully completed the construction and held a grand inauguration ceremony. President of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet, Minister of Construction Nguyen Hong Quan and some provincial governors attended the ceremony. Sinoma President Liu Zhijiang, TCDRI Chairman & President Yu Xingmin also attended the ceremony. President Nguyen Minh Triet spoke highly of the project and TCDRI in his address.

Vietnam Xining project is TCDRI s first complete 4000 t/d cement production line supervised by an international project supervision company. It is also the first large EPC project in Vietnam that contracted by a foreign company and financed by the state government. The total contract value is nearly 100 million USD. The construction started on November 2006 and put into operation in December 2008. Qualified cement products was successfully produced and dispatched in April 2009. The plant received a PAC from the owner in October 2009 and was taken over by the owner for business operation in December.
