Sinomatech to invest RMB 220 million on wind turbine blade project

March 20, Sinoma Science & Technology Co., Ltd (Sinomatech) announced that Sinomatech Wind Power Blade Co. Ltd (Sinoma Wind Blade), a subsidiary of Sinomatech, will spend RMB 221,928,700 on building a 3MW composite material wind turbine blade project in Badaling, Beijing.

Sinomatech said that the new project will generate an estimated RMB 415 million in sales revenue and an estimated RMB 31.96 million in profit per year.

It is another big investment made by Sinomatech in wind turbine blade during the past half year. Before then, Sinoma Wind Blade has already built two wind turbine blade production bases in Badaling, Beijing and Jiuquan, Gansu Province. Currently, Sinoma s 1.5MW wind turbine blade product with the length of 40.25m has obtained the GL certification. As of the end of 2009, Sinoma s annual production capacity of 1.5MW wind turbine blade has reached 1300 sets.
