He hoped increasingly intensified interactions and the friendship between SIBS and Danish institutions would be further developed and strengthened.
Prof. Wu also introduced SIBS and the SIBS-Novo Nordisk Translational Research Centre for Pre-Diabetes (TRCPD). Dr. B rge Diderichsen, vice president of Nova Nordisk, presented Novo Nordisk R&D in China. Minister Charlotte Sahl-Madsen appreciated the warm reception of SIBS and had high opinion of the development of SIBS.
SIBS and Danish organizations have developed long term cooperation. One of the milestones is the establishment of the SIBS-Novo Nordisk Translational Research Centre for Pre-Diabetes in 2009. TRCPD is the first translational research centre for pre-diabetes in China, and it is also an entrance to prevention medicine for Chinese diabetes treatments.
