BEIJING - Around 100 government officials, experts, scholars and business representatives from China and the European Union gathered in Beijing from Monday to Wednesday, exchanging views on non-proliferation export control policies.
They also discussed issues such as export licensing and export control enforcement at the 2010 China-EU Export Controls Seminar.
Both sides agreed that China-EU strategic cooperation on non-proliferation and communication on export control had made good progress over the last six years.
China and the European Union signed the Joint Declaration on Non-proliferation and Arms Control in 2004.
They also agreed that their cooperation had played an important role in the China-EU strategic partnership and international non-proliferation.
