SHANGHAI - Wuhan Steel, a leading Chinese steelmaker, will increase prices of its major steel products by 100-150 yuan ($15) per ton in January, indicating its positive outlook on demand, Reuters reported Friday.
The country's third-largest steel mill will increase hot-rolled coil prices by a range of 100-150 yuan per ton and cold-rolled coil prices by 100 yuan per ton.
Meanwhile, Baosteel said on Monday it will raise its main steel flat products by 200-260 yuan per ton, giving the spot market a lift, after keeping prices unchanged in December
