China Mobile does not have a detailed schedule of returning to the domestic listing now, but the company is eagerly awaiting the launch of the international board at the Shanghai Stock Exchange, which will accelerate China Mobile's listing, company chairman Wang Jianzhou told chinadaily.com.cn on Friday.
China Mobile, now listed in Hong Kong, is fully prepared to return to the domestic listing, waiting for the release of relevant policies of the international board.
Wang said he hopes the relevant regulations will be released as soon as possible.
The launch of the Shanghai international board is being widely watched as it would bring a string of leading international companies, including HSBC, Coca-Cola and Wal-Mart Stores, as well as domestic red-chip firms like China Mobile and Lenovo to the domestic fund raising pool, which is considered a key step to make Shanghai an international financial center.
