Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) said on Wednesday it has received preparatory approval to set up a wholly-owned foreign bank in China, the world's fastest growing major economy.
Local incorporation will allow ANZ to continue the expansion of its existing network in China by progressively seeking approval to open additional outlets, Australia's fourth largest lender said in a statement
