IT company NEC (China) Co Ltd is planning to bring 20 of NEC Corp's branches in China under unified operation, the company said on July 1.
The branches were previously run separately and reported to NEC's headquarters in Japan separately, which made it hard to provide quick and integrated services to NEC's clients in China.
The company hopes to make its business in China integrated with the management change.
The company aims to be listed among the top five companies in the system integration market in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan by the end of 2012.
NEC has about 12,500 employees and 58 branches in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
