Effective December 1, 2007, or as contract terms allow, Dow will increase prices in Europe by 50 Euro per metric ton for all its polypropylene resins and INSPIRE Performance Polymers.
Demand for polypropylene resins remains firm. In addition, the high energy and feedstock costs (linked to the unprecedented price of oil) are having a major negative impact on Dow s polypropylene margin. Based on these conditions Dow Europe GmbH is announcing a price increase across the European, Middle Eastern, African and Indian regions.
