China's Liheng Changle to build polyamide plant in Fujian in 2009

China's Liheng Changle Polyamide Technology Co has contracted Lurgi Zimmer to build a polyamide-6 plant at Binhai in Fujian province to be onstream in 2009, the German engineering company said in a statement.
The plant will be in the Binhai Industrial Zone near Changle city, and will be able to produce 200 mt/day of textile grade polyamide-6 chips.
Liheng currently has the capacity to produce 75,000 mt/year of polyamide chips and 42,000 mt/year of polyamide yarn at the site. The company is owned by Hongkong Liheng International Holding Co Ltd. Polyamide is used to produce textiles.
