US propylene stocks plumet 131,000 bbls in one week: EIA

US propylene stocks for non-fuel use dropped 131,000 barrels in the week ending September 14, according to the Energy Information Administration Thursday.
Stocks levels were at 2.573 million barrels, down from 2.704 million barrels last week.
For the week ending September 7, there was an increase of 115,000 barrels over a two-week period, which began during the week ending August 24 at 2.589 barrels.
At time of press Wednesday, the RGP spot market was at 46.875-47.125 cents/lb. Meanwhile, the propylene market remained in backwardation.
