Hong Kong-based China National Resources Holdings Ltd. signed an agreement to acquire 55 % of Xinjiang Mining, owner of exploration and production rights at copper and silver mine in western China for HK$1.98 billion ($253 million) in new shares, the company said in a statement to Hong Kong's stock exchange late yesterday.
