Chinese spot domestic alumina prices remained steady this week at about Yuan 3,400-3,500/mt ($453-467) ex-plant for non-Chalco materials, unchanged from the past few weeks, local industry sources said Wednesday. Chalco also continued to offer at Yuan 3,500/mt, after lowering prices since September 13 from the previous Yuan 3,900/mt.
