Effective immediately, or as existing contracts allow, BASF is raising its ethanolamine prices worldwide by
+ Euro30 per metric ton for monoethanolamines
+ Euro80 per metric ton for diethanolamines
+ Euro60 per metric ton for triethanolamines
or by the corresponding amounts in local currency. This price adjustment for ethanolamines is triggered by strong demand from all market segments and supported by continuously high raw materials and energy costs.
The products in question are high-class intermediates used in the manufacture of agrochemicals and wood protectants; surfactants for detergents and cleaning products; process chemicals for gas treatment; lubricants and cement additives as well as active pharmaceutical ingredients.
BASF produces ethanolamines at its sites in Ludwigshafen and Antwerp.
