NEW YORK, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- U.S. light, sweet crude rose for a fourth day and closed at a record high of 93.53 dollars a barrel on New York Mercantile Exchange on Monday.
The price rallied after bad weather forced Mexico to briefly halt one-fifth of its oil production, and the dollar touched the lowest level against the euro in more than eight years, analysts said.
The December crude oil futures reached a new intraday high of 93.80 dollars earlier.
