Crude oil falls 3.4 percent to settle at $90.38

NEW YORK, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- U.S. crude oil retreated from an all-time high, down for the first time in five days on Tuesday.

Crude-oil futures for December delivery closed down 3.15 dollars, or 3.4 percent, at 90.38 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, after setting a record high close of 93.53 dollars on Monday.
