KINGSPORT, Tenn., Nov. 15, 2007 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Dec. 1, or as contracts allow. These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.
EASTMAN Propionic Acid, All Grades: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America and Latin America.
EASTMAN n-Butanol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.04 /lb ($US 0.088/kg) in North America and Latin America.
EASTMAN Isobutanol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.04 /lb ($US 0.088/kg) in North America and Latin America.
EASTMAN 2-Ethylhexanol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.04 /lb ($US 0.088/kg) in North America and Latin America.
