Dow Epoxy, a global business unit of The Dow Chemical Company and its affiliates ("Dow"), today announced list and off-list price increases for its line of epoxy resins and curing agents in North America.
The increases, effective January 1, 2008, or as contract terms allow, are as follows:
Liquid Epoxies (resins, blends and solutions), D.E.R. 300 series: US$0.06/lb
Novolac Epoxies (resins and solutions), D.E.N. 400 series: US$0.06/lb
Novolac Epoxies, D.E.N. 431: US$0.08/lb
Brominated Epoxies (resins and solutions), D.E.R. 500 series: US$0.06/lb
Solid and Solid Solution Epoxies, D.E.R. 600 series: US$0.06/lb
Glycol Epoxies (resins and blends), D.E.R. 700 series: US$0.06/lb
Epoxy Curing Agents, D.E.H. 20, 30, 50 & 80 series: US$0.06/lb
"Demand for epoxies remains firm worldwide and has kept up the pressure on supply," explained Julie Mongeluzi, North American marketing manager for Dow Epoxy. "The coupling of this tight supply/demand environment with escalating raw material costs underpins our decision to raise prices."
All other terms and conditions of sale for these products remain unchanged.
Customers interested in learning more about the price increases should contact their local Dow sales representative.
