With effect from Jan 1, 2008, Saudi Basic Industries Corp (Sabic), will raise polyethylene prices in Europe for by Euro100 per metric ton. The price hike will affect all of its high-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene and linear low-density polyethylene products.
This price hike has been announced in a bid to pass on feedstock increases to the downstream sector further down the value chain.
