Effective February 4, 2008, the Dow Carpet Latex business is increasing the prices of all styrene butadiene (S/B) latex and acrylic latex products sold into the carpet industry by US$0.05/lb (dry) in the United States and Canada.
We are implementing this price increase on our latex carpet products to help offset rising manufacturing costs. The escalation in the costs of many raw materials used to manufacture our products has eroded margins to unsustainable levels.
