Indonesia-based Indo Rama SPL group has decided to set up a stretch fabric manufacturing unit in Himachal Pradesh. The group plans to invest Rs 400 crore for setting up the spandex manufacturing plant, a first of its kind in the country. Indo Rama SPL group is a global manufacturer of diversified industrial products with a focus on petrochemicals - polyolefin, polyester, spun yarns, textiles, etc. With capacity of 2.2 mln tpa, it is world No 2 polyester producer.
