May 14-Oldbury-based Teknor Apex UK has appointed Whitchem to distribute the company s range of engineering thermoplastic (ETP) compounds in the United Kingdom, it was announced on 13 May by Neil Croucher, UK sales director for the ETP division of Teknor Apex.
Whitchem will represent Teknor Apex s full line of reinforced and specially modified compounds of polyamide 6 and 66 under the Beetle brand, along with speciality formulations of acetal, PBT and PET. The company already distributes Teknor Apex s thermoplastic elastomer (tpe) compounds.
Newcastle-under-Lyme-based Whitchem represents a broad range of chemical, mineral and polymer product lines. Besides moulding and extrusion compounds, its plastics portfolio includes additives, fillers, pigments, and high-performance films.
