CETC International, the export arm of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC group), unveiled the CETC Foreign Trade Integration Center in Beijing on July 9.
CETC group is a major provider of IT products and services for military and civilian use and has more than 200 subsidiaries around China.
"The CETC Foreign Trade Integration Center is an important platform to integrate resources and operations of all CETC subsidiaries," said CETC Party Secretary Fan Youshan. According to Fan, setting up the Center is a strategic step in CETC group's bid to become a leading multinational corporation.
"CETC International will expand in the overseas market with the help of the Center," said the exporter's President Yan Lijin. So far, 25 companies have joined the Center, and more will follow in the near future, Yan said.
CETC International, founded in 2002, is a leader in research, development and production of electronic information systems. It provides both off-the-shelf and customized solutions. CETC International has market networks in over 100 countries and regions. In 2009, its foreign trade amounted to US$1.2 billion.
