Ji Xiaonan, a senior official with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), was quoted by the 21st Century Business Herald on Monday as saying that 40 of China's state-owned enterprises (SOEs) are expected to finish their overall listing by the end of next year.
And Ji also said that promotion of the country's SOEs on the stock market is a key part of SASAC's reforms, and the move will make sure that the industrial chain is complete and the companies can produce and operate independently.
These SOEs will adopt a listing model of marketing both in the A-share market and the H-share market.
The overall marketing of the SOEs will guarantee that they can operate according to the demands of the capital market. And it will provide a fluent mobility of capital and a total capitalization of the State-owned assets, said Shao Ning, deputy director of SASAC.
According to the report, 24 SOEs finished their overall listing by the end of July, and SOEs such as China Minmetals Corporation are in the planning stage of their listing.
