In order to popularize and promote the development of traditional culture and art of the She Ethnic Minority, strengthen the communication and understanding of fellow Chinese across the strait, improve the artistic level of the folk art troupe, a She ethnic folk art troupe are going to Nantou County in Taiwan in the middle of June. They will perform there for a week and conduct cultural exchange. The art troupe will present Taiwanese a sing and dance show filled with She ethnic features named: Millennial Mountain Rituals of the She Ethnic Minority
Millennial Mountain Rituals of the She Ethnic Minority covers the mountain songs and dances deeply rooted in the She ethnic culture. The performance will exhibit colorful clothes ornamentations, religious rituals, labor life and wedding ceremonies of She ethnic people. Meanwhile, it will display the historic cultural background and industrious and strong-willed character of She ethnic people. The culture communication aims at promoting the understanding across the strait, promoting the communication of different cultures and enhancing the national feelings of Chinese.
