To celebrate Day of Choir , a number of choirs leaved Shaoxing for Shanghai and started their rehearsal not long after the arrival for the celebration that took place at night.
It was an unforgettable white night. Fluting and singing can be heard all time .Nine choirs from Estonia, Malaysia, Brazil, Venezuela, Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the local singers of Shanghai, adding up to 2010 persons, sang on one stage in Expo Culture Center.
Thirty world-famous songs were sung by choirs from all over the world in turns .In addition, nine choirs from the WCG performed perfectly .These world s top choirs sang seven classic songs such as Hallelujah and Conquest of Paradise .Even the premiere of symphonic red was firstly performed as a surprise.
There is no doubt that Day of Expo is one of the largest activities organized by Expo, and it is a creative attempt to join Expo with the WCG. Day of Expo constructed a new stage for the world s music.
